circa 1875, with round, tapering 2 1/4in. barrel marked 'RED JACKET' and engraved with geometric running lines and dots, similar borders surrounding American scroll engraving to the solid frame, looping zig-zag lines engraved to the fluted cylinder, smooth walnut birdshead grips and spur trigger
